#Hermes Kelly 28 - Classic daily esseniatl!

The Kelly is one of the oldest members of the Hermès family, designed by Robert Dumas Hermes in 1935. Originally named Sac a Depeche’s by Mr Hermes he aimed to design a simple and unadorned handbag for his wife. In 1956, the Princess Grace Kelly used Hermes handbags whilst coming into motherhood- famously using her “Sac a Depeche” to cover ever more prominent baby bump. With excessive media coverage as a result, the popularity of this bag exploded. The public poured into the Hermès stores, eager on having their own “IT” bag of the era. Since then, the bag has been officially renamed the Kelly Bag. Each Kelly handbag is hand-made by Hermès artisans and takes approximately 18 to 25 hours to create. As testament to craftsmanship, the artisans initials are engraved on the insider pocket of the bag.  28X22X10CM (L/H/W)
